ArtistSpotlight - Coree Moreno

You know there are some really really dope artists on Instagram and other social media platforms who I feel are SO dope, but sometimes are just off in the Cut chillin’. This week I would like to highlight a very dope Editorial Hair Artist Coree Moreno !  We have such amazing Artists in the field of cosmetology and one that I admire is Coree Moreno. Coree has managed to stay booked with editorial opportunities that showcase his creative hair aesthetic and also has been able to do this using beautiful and notable figures as his muse. If I were to describe Coree’s work I would say that is was chic with a touch of edgy to it. I love that he can be so versatile, creating soft silhouettes with natural updos to unconventional color placements that are interesting and fun, all while giving a dope cut with carefree movement and life. Coree is based in New York and with so much competition in these streets he is still rising with more and more notoriety as time passes on. Freelance artists are the free spirits of the hair industry able to move and shack between television, sets, editorial shoots, and red carpet events. Coree Moreno definitely makes it look easy through his consistency and dedication to the craft. Not to mention he has a really dope eye for fashion. I am always interested in seeing new concepts in hair and it’s wonderful to see this artist infuse more and more originality into the world with his unconventional but beautiful creative eye. Coree Moreno is based in NYC and more of his work can be seen on his IG page @coree.moreno
