Artist Spotlight - Ebony Gordon

You know there are some really really dope artists on Instagram and other social media platforms who I feel are SO dope, but sometimes are just off in the Cut chillin’. This week I would like to highlight Colorist Ebony Gordon aka HAIRista!

Besides being a salon owner based in Hampton Virgina, Ebony is also an exceptional colorist! Customizing color combos like fuchsia and purple, auburn and orange, and even playing with turquoise and blondes Ebony shows that she is very knowledgeable when it comes to coloring hair. Ebony’s specialty is color and in particular coloring textured hair which we all know is very hard to do in a lot of cases. So much care has to be taken when it comes to color treated texture and seeing all the beautiful finishes on Ebony’s clients is a beautiful thing to admire. With her salon being in business for more than 6 years Ebony has acquired the skill as well as the experience that gives her the knowledge of how to provide her patrons with an exceptional experience. I love when I see dope colorists doing their thing and representing their city well while doing it!  Ebony Gordon is a great example of hard work paying off and can be seen as an inspiration for many other young cosmetologists coming up the ranks! To see more of Ebony Gordon’s work you can check her out on Instagram @_hairista_ or check out her website www.HAIRistaStudio.com
