Artist Spotlight - Chante Nichelle

You know there are some really really dope artists on Instagram and other social media platforms who I feel are SO dope, but sometimes are just off in the Cut chillin’. This week I would like to Shine a spotlight on Colorist Chante Nichelle aka Scissor Happy Chante!!

Now this is my boo right here! I just love her down to earth spirit and awesome talent. Chante is a very comprehensive stylist and educator. When I look at Chante’s work I can’t help but to smile. Not only does she focus on haircuts and color formulations, but she also knows her chemistry. Her finishes always look so soft and healthy. That indicates how knowledgeable and well rounded of a stylist she is. I have always love seeing new posts from Chante, because I already know its about to be bomb. I would sum up Chante’s aesthetic as healthy and beautiful. Not to mention she is one of the queens of waving! All her short styles have a touch of wave to them in every silhouette.

Besides being a dope hairstylist; Chante is also a great educator. She educates for Design Essentials outside of her fully booked appointment schedule. Hopefully next time I’m in the Tennessee area; I can visit my boo and see her new hair salon Salon De Coupe that she launched last year. If you're in the Memphis Tennessee area and in need of a new look or just a little color enhancement; then you have to check out my boo Chante Nichelle!

She’ll sooth you with her cool vibes and send you on your way feeling refreshed from her southern hospitality and charm .

If you would like to see more of Chante Nichelle’s work you can check her out on Instagram @chante.nichelle
